Since our inception in 2003, the Karuna Trust has strived to identify and rectify areas of need among the rural poor. Given this broad commitment meant that our projects have been varying in nature and size. However, the end goal had always been to uplift someone in need and make a positive change in society. The following descriptions provide a general overview of how we have functioned in the past. We are certain that they will paint a vibrant picture of the Trust’s past activities in human development endeavours. For ease of reading, we have presented our work under the three broad categorisations of the United Nations Human Development Index – Health, Education, and Income.
