There was no proper public library in Neluwa & Tawalama villages. In 2011 Karuna Trust built a new building to house a pre-school and a library with 4,000 stock of books. We hope to increase the number of books to 10,000. For this we need all of your help. We make a humble request from our well-wishers to donate at least one book to make our effort a success. Here we have employed a librarian and an assistant and keep the library open six days a week. A reference section is also available. Also we have started a pre-school in a section of the same building. This pre-school was housed in a shack before and children were in danger.
